TrackMyDebtor.com ("we," "us," "our") is a B2B monitoring platform for legal professionals. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to users of our website and service at www.trackmydebtor.com.

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed (non-recoverable) version of your password. We do not store plaintext passwords.

Debtor Data You Provide
To use the monitoring service, you enter information about judgment debtors — including names, counties, states, case numbers, and judgment amounts. This data is stored on our servers and used to perform monitoring searches on your behalf.

Sweep Results
When we perform monitoring sweeps, we retrieve and store property records, court filings, business entity information, and related public data on your behalf. This data is associated with your account and the debtors you monitor.

Usage and Log Data
We automatically collect standard web server logs, including your IP address, browser type, referring URLs, pages viewed, and timestamps. This data is used for security, diagnostics, and improving the Service.

Payment Information
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We receive only a tokenized payment reference and limited card metadata (last four digits, card type, expiration date). We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To create and maintain your account;
• To perform monitoring sweeps and deliver results to your dashboard;
• To send alert notifications when monitoring discovers new information;
• To process subscription billing through Stripe;
• To respond to your support requests;
• To detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
• To comply with applicable legal obligations; and
• To improve and develop the Service.

4. Third-Party Data Sources

To deliver monitoring results, we access a combination of licensed data services, aggregated public-record databases, and official government registries. Debtor information you enter is transmitted to these services only to the extent necessary to execute monitoring searches on your behalf.

Data categories include, but are not limited to: property and deed record databases, civil and federal court filing systems, business entity registries, federal asset registries, and bankruptcy court systems. The specific data providers we use are proprietary and not disclosed.

Our payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. under PCI-DSS compliance standards. We do not store card numbers on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.

Each underlying provider operates under its own privacy policy and terms of service. We are not responsible for the data practices of these third parties.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or the debtor data you enter. We may disclose information in the following circumstances:

• Legal compliance: When required by law, court order, or governmental authority;
• Safety and security: To protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, our users, or the public;
• Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality obligations; and
• With your consent: When you have explicitly authorized us to do so.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures, including TLS/HTTPS encryption for all data in transit and bcrypt hashing for passwords at rest. Our infrastructure is hosted on Railway, which maintains SOC 2 compliance. No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We will notify affected users of any confirmed data breach as required by applicable law.

7. Data Retention

• Account data is retained for the life of your account and for a reasonable period after account closure as required for legal and business purposes.
• Debtor records and alert history are retained as long as the associated debtor exists in your portfolio. Deleting a debtor removes their associated records.
• Log data is retained for up to 90 days for security and diagnostic purposes.
• You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting Support@TrackMyDebtor.com. Certain data may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.

8. Cookies and Session Data

We use session cookies solely to keep you authenticated while logged in. These cookies are essential for the Service to function and are deleted when you log out or close your browser session. We do not use advertising tracking cookies, third-party analytics trackers, or behavioral profiling technologies.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to:

• Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
• Correct inaccurate information in your account;
• Request deletion of your personal information;
• Object to or restrict certain processing; and
• Receive your data in a portable format.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice within the Service. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects when changes were last made. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
