Accepted Payment Methods
The following payment methods are available at checkout on /checkout and for recurring subscription charges:
How Each Method Appears at Checkout
The checkout page at /checkout uses Stripe's Payment Element, which automatically detects your device and browser environment and displays only the payment methods available to you.
- Stripe Link appears at the top of the payment form if Stripe detects a saved Link account associated with your email address. It is the default option when available.
- Apple Pay and Google Pay appear as dedicated buttons above the card form when the browser and device combination supports them. They do not appear if the environment is not compatible.
- Card entry is always present as a fallback option — the standard card number, expiry, and CVC fields are displayed on all devices.
You do not need to take any action to enable these methods — they appear automatically when your environment supports them.
Payment Security
All payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. This means:
- Your card number, CVC, and billing details are entered directly into Stripe's secure form — they are never transmitted to or stored on TrackMyDebtor.com's servers.
- TrackMyDebtor.com stores only a Stripe customer token and the last four digits of your card for display purposes in your account.
- All payment data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Stripe under their security infrastructure.
Stripe is a PCI-DSS Level 1 Service Provider — the highest level of PCI compliance available. Your payment data is subject to Stripe's security controls, not TrackMyDebtor.com's. We never see or store raw card data.
Methods Not Accepted
The following payment methods are not currently available:
- ACH / bank transfer — not supported for subscription billing at this time.
- Check or money order — not accepted.
- Invoice or net terms — all billing is automated monthly through Stripe. There is no manual invoicing or net-30 billing option.
- Cryptocurrency — not supported.
- PayPal — not supported.
If your organization requires a different payment arrangement, contact us at Support@TrackMyDebtor.com to discuss your situation.
Changing Your Payment Method After Subscribing
Once you are subscribed, your payment method can be updated at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle. For full step-by-step instructions, see Updating Your Payment Method.
If your payment was declined due to an expired card, update your payment method through the Stripe Customer Portal as soon as possible. Stripe will retry the charge automatically — see What Happens If My Payment Fails? for the full retry schedule.
