Accessing the Stripe Customer Portal

The Stripe Customer Portal is the central hub for all billing management. To open it:

  1. Log in to your dashboard
Go to /login and sign in to your TrackMyDebtor.com account.
  2. Navigate to Account Settings
Click your account name or the Account link in the top navigation to open Account Settings.
  3. Click "Manage Billing"
You'll see a "Manage Billing" button in the Billing section of your account settings. Clicking this button opens the Stripe Customer Portal in a new tab. This button is only visible when you have an active subscription.
  4. You're now in the Stripe Customer Portal
Stripe's portal is a secure, hosted page operated by Stripe. From here you can manage all aspects of your subscription without leaving a secure environment.
No active subscription?

The "Manage Billing" button only appears when your account has an active subscription. If you do not yet have a subscription, go to /checkout to subscribe. If your subscription was cancelled and you want to reactivate, contact Support@TrackMyDebtor.com.

What You Can Do in the Portal

The Stripe Customer Portal gives you full visibility and control over your subscription:

  • View your current plan — see your active plan and debtor count. Note that debtor changes happen in the TrackMyDebtor app by adding, pausing, or removing debtors — not in the portal directly.
  • Update your payment method — add a new card or change the default payment method on file. See Updating Your Payment Method for step-by-step instructions.
  • View and download invoices — access all past invoices with a PDF download option. See Understanding Your Invoice for details on reading your invoice.
  • Cancel your subscription — cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you retain access through the period you've already paid for.
7-day free trial

New Individual plan subscribers get a 7-day free trial. Your card is saved at checkout but not charged for 7 days. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be billed. The trial applies to new Individual plan accounts only.

Plan vs. Portal

An important distinction: the Stripe Customer Portal shows your current subscription plan, but you cannot change your plan or debtor roster from within the portal. To upgrade, downgrade, or change your debtor count, contact Support@TrackMyDebtor.com or manage debtors directly in the app:

  • To add a debtor, use the Add Debtor button in the app (subject to your plan's limit).
  • To free up a slot, pause or remove a debtor in the app.

Cancelling Your Subscription

To cancel your subscription, open the Stripe Customer Portal (Account Settings → Manage Billing), locate the Subscription section, and select the cancellation option. Stripe will confirm the cancellation date — your access continues until the end of your paid billing period.

After cancellation, your debtor list and alert history remain viewable for a grace period, but automated sweeps will stop at the end of the billing period. You can reactivate your subscription at any time by contacting support or returning to /checkout.

Before you cancel

If you're pausing all debtors temporarily rather than ending monitoring permanently, consider pausing your debtors instead of cancelling your subscription. Pausing keeps your debtor list and history intact while stopping billing — cancellation ends the subscription entirely.

Returning to the App After Managing Billing

The Stripe Customer Portal opens in a new tab. After you're done with billing management, you can simply close the Stripe tab and return to your TrackMyDebtor.com dashboard tab. Alternatively, the Stripe Customer Portal includes a "Return to TrackMyDebtor.com" link that will bring you back to your dashboard.
