Before You Begin
Creating a TrackMyDebtor.com account takes about five minutes. Before you start, make sure you have the following ready:
- A valid email address you have access to — this is where monitoring alerts will be sent
- A payment method (credit or debit card) — required to start your free trial. Your card is saved but not charged for 7 days on the Individual plan.
- Basic debtor information — at minimum, the debtor's legal name and state
That's it. You don't need a judgment case number or any special documentation to create an account and begin monitoring.
Step-by-Step: Creating Your Account
-
1Go to the signup page
Navigate to trackmydebtor.com and click the Sign Up button. You can also access the signup page directly at trackmydebtor.com/signup.
-
2Enter your email address and password
Use an email address you actively check — this is where monitoring alerts will be delivered. Create a strong password of at least 8 characters. You'll use these credentials to log in every time.
-
3Submit the registration form
Click Create Account. Your account is created immediately and you'll be redirected to your new dashboard.
-
4Set your security PIN
After verifying your email, you'll be prompted to create a 6-digit security PIN. This PIN protects sensitive account actions. See Setting Up Your Security PIN for details on what the PIN is used for and how to choose one.
-
6Choose a subscription plan
Select the plan that fits your monitoring needs. Plans are priced per debtor seat — you pay only for the debtors you're actively monitoring. See the Pricing page for a full breakdown of what's included at each tier.
-
7Enter payment information
Complete checkout through our secure payment processor. On the Individual plan, your card is saved but not charged for 7 days — your free trial starts immediately. After the trial period, billing is monthly. Payment processing is handled by Stripe — we never store your card details.
-
8Add your first debtor
Once your subscription is active, click Add Debtor on your dashboard. You'll need the debtor's legal name and the state where they're most likely to hold assets. Monitoring begins immediately once you click Start Monitoring. See Adding Your First Debtor for a step-by-step guide.
Choosing the Right Plan
TrackMyDebtor.com offers tiered monthly plans based on how many debtors you need to monitor:
- Individual — $6.99/month, 1 debtor — includes a 7-day free trial for new accounts (card required, no charge for 7 days)
- Pro — $29.99/month, up to 5 debtors
- Enterprise — custom rate for high-volume users
There are no setup fees, data fees, or per-alert charges. Visit the Pricing page to compare plans and see exactly what's included.
Subscriptions are billed in advance. If you cancel, you retain access through the end of your billing period. See How to Cancel Your Subscription for details.
Your Account Dashboard
Once your account is set up and payment is complete, you'll have access to your full monitoring dashboard. From there you can:
- Add, view, and manage your monitored debtors
- Review alerts generated from completed sweeps
- Trigger manual sweeps on any debtor at any time
- View full debtor reports including known property and business history
- Manage your subscription and billing details
- Update your account email, password, and security PIN
Use the email address that you check most frequently. Every alert goes to your account email, and for bankruptcy alerts in particular, fast response matters. You can update your email at any time from Account Settings.
